Last weekend, September 17-19, 2021, at the Canadian Tank Museum in Oshawa, Ontario, the Battle of Aquino military history festival was held in honor of the battle under the Italian town of the same name in the Cassino area, where in 1944 the Canadians distinguished themselves.

It is interesting that the Canadian reenactors did not limit themselves to the battles in Italy, but decided at the same time to show the meeting of the Soviet and Western allies on the Elbe. As part of this episode, with the help of the T-34-85 and the Sherman, the Red Army men busily beat the Germans, and then, in joy, squatted down to dance something that was supposed to represent a Russian dance.
